The full-length practice exam is a good idea if this is the first digital SAT you’ve taken. It will let you know what changes have been made and what will remain the same. You can try out the features and tools you will use on the test day.

There are two ways to practice. Download the app, and then on the home page click Practice and prepare: Test preview. This set of short questions will let you practice taking a test using a computer and the testing tools. No feedback or scores will be given. You can also complete full-length practice exams via the app. They are timed just like the SAT. Your scores will appear under My Practice in Bluebook after you’ve completed a complete practice test. Practice testing allows you to focus on the areas that you need more time and effort in. This will save you from wasting time in areas that you are already competent.
